In February 2024, a client approached us — an international online trading platform that provides services for trading Forex, stocks, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. The company offers convenient tools, training, and modern technologies for its users.

The client's website already had a good reputation and many years of experience, but it was necessary to improve visibility and organic traffic in search engines.

Client's Request

The main task of the project was to increase the link mass and enhance the website's visibility in search engines for users from India, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Project Goals

  1. Increase the number of high-quality external links
  2. Enhance the website's authority and attract targeted traffic
  3. Improve search engine rankings for key queries

So, here’s what we started with:

Number of links to the domain in February 2024
Key words on the project, February 2024

Organic traffic per month, February 2024

Promotion Strategy

To strengthen the website's authority and attract an audience, we conducted a detailed analysis of the website's condition and its competitors. Based on the results, a comprehensive plan was developed to increase the link mass in three key regions.

Key Steps:

  1. Placement of guest posts on blogs and news websites with high metrics.
  2. Forum links and platforms with an active audience.
  3. Pillow links  to increase local recognition and website visibility.

The monthly plan included placing 19 guest posts on authoritative websites, as well as 30 forum links  and 20 pillow links to maintain the natural dynamics of the link profile.

The total number of gestposts supplied was:

  • 204 guest posts
  • 330 forum links
  • 165 pillow links

The total amount spent on linkbuilding was $48,000

Results

This strategy helped improve the website's metrics and increase traffic, as seen in the graphs after 11 months of work.

The number of links per domain has grown from 654 to 2,103 in 11 months
Total number of keywords in increased 1.3 times
Growing traffic to 55,725 posts/month!

Over the year, the website significantly improved its positions in India, Vietnam, and Thailand. Regular placement of high-quality links strengthened its authority and increased the link mass.

Project Features

Promoting websites in the cryptocurrency sector comes with a number of challenges. Among the main issues are the high cost of quality platforms in regions like the USA, Europe, and Malaysia, the lack of websites willing to host cryptocurrency-related content, slow communication with webmasters in Asia, and advertising restrictions due to the regulations of various countries.

We analyzed the specific characteristics of working in different countries where we promoted the project and encountered difficulties in each region.

Malaysia

Promotion in Malaysia proved to be challenging due to the high cost of quality platforms, their limited availability, and the cautious attitude of webmasters toward cryptocurrency topics. After two months of work, a decision was made to replace the region with Thailand. Thailand offered more accessible donors, reasonable prices, and simpler communication.

India

India turned out to be the most stable region. There were enough donors, placement costs were affordable, and collaboration with webmasters was clear and without delays. All publications were completed on time.

Vietnam

In this region, the main difficulty was delays in communication with webmasters and long waiting times for publications. However, the region compensated for this with low placement costs and the possibility of payment in cryptocurrency, which sped up the process on some platforms.

By adapting the strategy to the specifics of each region and establishing effective interaction with webmasters, we managed to ensure stable project promotion in the target countries within the cryptocurrency sector.

Secrets of Success

  1. Comprehensive link placement for stable and natural project growth.
  2. Strategy development considering the specifics of the niche and target regions.
  3. Placement of links on reliable resources with high-quality and engaging content for users.

Conclusion

Promoting websites in the cryptocurrency sector requires a flexible approach and consideration of regional specifics, but a well-crafted strategy can help achieve excellent results.

In almost a year of work, the client’s website increased the number of keywords by 1.3 times, leading to traffic growth from 36,384 to 55,725 visitors per month!

These results are just the beginning. The client continues to work with us to achieve even greater success and strengthen their search rankings.

Should You Rewrite Old Content for Google’s New Muvera Algorithm
Google has announced the rollout of a new algorithm — Muvera (Multi-Vector Retrieval).
